AIRBRUSH PAINTING ON CANVAS
Oil painting on canvas, “Feminine Perceptions.” Begun in the summer using acrylics and finished with oil-based airbrush paint, the painting depicts two women: one with a face and the other with an unpainted expression, illustrating the feigned mystery of that same woman. Starting from figurative art and moving toward a POP ART-style abstraction of colors within this nude, this juxtaposition brings a freshness and light enhanced by airbrush touches.It's fairly rare to use an airbrush with oil paint, yet that's exactly what was done.
